Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and UpPlay ("we", "us") for using our games, currently Cats vs Dogs Solitaire (Solitaire Rivals), and this website (together, the "Services"). By installing or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms for you, including for any purchases.
2. Your license
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Services for your own non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly given to you stay with UpPlay and its licensors.
3. Virtual items and purchases
- The games may include virtual items such as coins, trophies and power-ups. You can earn some of them by playing and buy some with real money.
- Virtual items have no real-world value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, sold, or transferred outside the game. You get a license to use them, not ownership of them.
- Purchases are processed by Google Play under its terms. Except where the law or Google Play's refund policy requires otherwise, all purchases are final.
- We may change, rebalance or remove virtual items as the game develops. Your progress and items are tied to your device and may be lost if you uninstall the game or change devices.
4. Fair play
You agree not to:
- cheat, or use bots, hacks, modified clients or exploits;
- copy, decompile, reverse engineer or modify the game, except where the law allows it;
- disrupt, overload or attack our servers, or access them in ways we did not intend;
- use the Services for anything unlawful or commercial.
If you break these terms we may suspend or end your access and remove related progress or items, without refund where the law allows.
5. Our content
The games, including their artwork, characters, music, text and software, belong to UpPlay or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
6. Changes and availability
We keep improving the Services, so features, rules and content may change. We may suspend or stop offering all or part of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee that they will always be available, error-free or compatible with your device.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
8. Disclaimer
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, UpPlay is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, progress or virtual items. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where UpPlay is established, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will tell you in the game. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the updated terms.
